How much would it cost to buy complete sets of all the Topps Sports Cards ever printed?

Question by Tom W: How much would it cost to buy complete sets of all the Topps Sports Cards ever printed?
Once upon a time, I was a broke college kid who sold his sports cards for way too little to pay the bills. I miss those cards!

Now I’m older and have kids of my own. I miss the Big Red Machine and the Old Dodgers…I miss my old familiar faces of my youth and want to purchase them…what’s the best way to buy complete sets of all the Topps Cards…baseball, basketball and football?

Anyone know any sports collector shops in bankruptcy?

On eBay they are selling all of the Topps cards ever made (they say there’s 2,000) for $ 9.99, MINT CONDITION!! I would get my butt over there if I were you. (:

    Buy a Tuff Stuff magazine and check the ads. Visit your local sports card stores and see what they have. Check on craigslist and eBay.

    As far as bankrupt shops, other collector shops would have first bid on those stocks.
